Narcotics and Controlled Substances Policy

Valley Family Care PC patients requiring ongoing narcotics and/or other controlled substances will be referred to a specialist for their pain needs. Valley Family Care PC will not provide prescriptions for narcotics for chronic pain conditions. Included, but not limited to: Codeine, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Methadone, Hydromorphone, Morphine, Fentanyl or any other medications within the same class.

Valley Family Care PC will not provide prescriptions for benzodiazepines including, but not limited to: Alprazolam, Clobazam, Clonazepam, Clorazepate, Chlordiazepoxide, Diazepam, Lorazepam, or any other medications within the same class.
